The circles on the left are your Nests, which are used to breed and incubate eggs. On the left and right sides of your Sanctuary, you will find two lines of 5 and 6 circles. The master rookery has a finite number of spots originally available but can be increased by using a Master Rookery Expansion. Certain level milestones will unlock your dragon's next boost abilities and eventually allow that dragon to breed (level 8). Like Great Dragons, Sanctuary Dragons can be upgraded (current maximum is level 11). The Master Rookery is the sanctuary location where hatched dragons are kept if they are not currently equipped to a rookery. (Breeding is no longer possible due to a glitch in the game.) Normally, Your city and outpost dragons are the original breeding dragons, but will not provide you any sort of boosts, unlike their offspring. Each boost has a level requirement, so to access your 2nd or 3rd or 4th boost, you must upgrade that dragon to the required level, which will require resources, primarily gold and anthropus talismans. Instead, each dragon offer up to 4 boosts that will benefit you in multiple ways. Sanctuary Dragons are not like City and Outpost Dragons in the sense that they do not enter combat nor obtain armor. Your city Great Dragon is the only original female dragon unless you win or breed an egg that hatches a female dragon. While the Sanctuary is automatically available without needing to build any buildings or obtain any eggs, like with Outposts, boosts are not accessible until you either obtained 2 dragons of opposite genders or obtain an egg from a challenge, event, or lvl 8+ forest.
